Hello my name is Lawrence Mukiibi the second prize winner International Essay contest 2008 organized by UNESCO and the Goipeace foundation Japan. I am biomedical laboratory student at Makerere university Kampala. I work as a volunteer at the Never Again children's project that rehabilitates children before they are enrolled in Private and public schools within Kampala. I have worked for this project for nearly five years since i finished ordinary certificate of education,for which at times it goes beyond just teaching to also contribute necessities and mobilizing tuition fees for these children to go for further studies, because in rehabilitation we teach life skills and formal education basics in a 'catch up' school program. Right now I am on a mission of buying them a home with in Kampala such that they can be settled.
